Yo..
What do ya think the chances are of survival... Not too worried cos I was only trying to pop one by chance but me soil temp got up to 98 degrees (37c) all other conditions are perfect. Temps were that high for about 9 hrs... Mmm felt quite warm.. time will tell I guess...
Anyone know the max temp you can get the little buggers?

I try to stay at 80-85f and never have any problems. 98f (37c) is hot though, your seed can probably handle that.

There's like 40 different vegetables that have a max germination temp of 90-105f, most of them have an optimum range at 75-85f.

Well... It's popped and looking healthy.... Maximum temp reached was 101f (38c) for about 8-9 hours... so there ya go.... One more day of heat and then she's on her own.
