Maximizing Canada's grow laws

Hey guys,

It's ya boy joyc0048 here .looking for some experts to weigh in on this topic. Hoping to get a good healthy, but also friendly debate going here.

Not sure about all provinces, but federally the law allows you to grow up to 4 plants per household for personal supply. Now, it's probably not that challnginch to produce a perpetual smoke supply withth that setup I, however, am interested in how you could get the most bud possible, and with the least investment.

I'll start with my weak ass setup lol. Financial constraints were the biggest problem for me (I'm a socialist, fuck capitalism). So I have a pretty nice 4x4x6 grow tent, 7gallin fabric pots, plain soil with basic miracle grow nutrients, and about 40% perlite. My research led me to believe that the light was an important investment, because even the cheap ones are pricey, and you don't want to oeeot buying more. I did a tough n of research, and really wanted to do a cob or quantum board setup, but even building my own was out of budget .I settled for a crappy Chinese light that claims to be 2000w equivalent led. I'm pretty sure it was the only way to get the max amount of lighting, but I suspect it'll die in some way or another within the first year.

So here's the part that I couldn't find much info about. I'm m sure this probably comes down to just learning your own setup, but any experience based or educated advice would be greatly appreciated. Do I try and maximise harvest by spending a long time in the vegetative stage, or would I produce more with shorter veg cycles. Should I scrog? Super crop? Last, hst? High end nutrients?

How would you set up the highest yielding 4 plant grow? I'm excited to hear your answers. Hopefully this thread will be usefully to pursue of people not that legalization has arrived.

Depends on how many seeds you have and have access to.
It's hard to get seeds where i am and i have limited amounts so i do 2 plants and veg for 6-7 weeks.
Even if i had plenty beans i'd still do 6+ week veg and scrog.
Would probably produce more in shorter veg though.

Also, I'd like to apologize for any spelling or grmagrammat errors. Alcohol and thc may have been a factor.

Got some purple pantie dropper on the go right now. Kinda thought my buddy made up the name, but in today's overwhelming cannabis choice society, I guess it's nice rmao to smoke a strain you've never heard of.

Seed access really isn't a problem. I ordered my first set of seeds from a crappy company, because someone else was found nancnancng my grow, and they wanted to save money. but I could get an abundance of seeds pretty easily. I'm f it weren't for these stupid 4 plant paws, I'd just do a SOG grow.

Also, random question, but does anybody know the quantity limits for home grown cannabis? They say you can't have more than 30 grams of cannabis, but you can grow four plants. I'm sure a lot of growers could get 2lbs+ from 4 plants. How does that law apply to them?

Manitoba you can only cultivate with a medical marijuana license. Quebec allows no home cultivation at all. there is no current maximum amount of marijuana one can have at their home except for BC, Quebec, and Nunavut. amounts are 1000 grams, 150 grams, and 150 grams

Yeah, as far as I can tell, you can't be out in public with more than 30g's in Ontario, but there doesn't seem to be a limit to what you can have at home.

So ImI debating whtwhet to go with a scrog setup. I'm probably just gonna keep it simple since it's my first run ever, but scrof seems like an effoeceff way to kaximmax yield per square foot.

I've also been wondering about the best system to use too for maximizing production with our four plant limit. For now, I
have fem seeds (no clones) so I'm just growing 4 bigger plants in a 5'x5' tent. I just flipped them now after about a 6 week veg because 4 plants fill up 25 square feet rather quickly!
