maximize harvest space!

Hi everyone harvest season is getting closer and I'm second guessing myself on available space...
my first question is how much bud has someone personally dried inside a grow tent at one time and what size was your tent ?
would I be able to dry say 5 pounds of outdoor bud in a 3x3x7ft grow tent ? what if i built 6x2.5ft rectangular pvc racks hung vertically i could probably fit 7-8 pvc racks in the 3x3x7ft tent ? need to maximize my space.

also i don't have a lot of room so could i use my 3x3x7ft grow tent dry the cannabis for 5-7 days then cut and place on (2) 2FT drying racks in a 2x4x6 grow tent for remaining dry time then put inside harvest keeper 2.5 gallon buckets for trimming then once trimmed, buds in mason jars for curing?

with new phresh 6x16 inch carbon filter with correct 6 inch inline will smell still be an issue ???

Hello Zbud 94,

If you do a wet trim and place the buds on drying racks, you could dry a tremendous amount of weed within a very small space.
You can easily dry 6 pounds of bud in a 3x3x7ft grow tent as long as you have sufficient airflow and check on your buds every day.

As the buds start drying, their size will decrease by 30 to 40% and they won't be as prone to mold. That is why, after 5-7 days, I'm sure you can 2x4x6 grow tent for remaining dry time.

Note that when buds are trimmed wet, they dry 40% faster.
