matching up strains for a multi-strain grow

Hey Folks,

It's grow time! Finally!

I'm branching out into a multi-strain grow. Four plants, two each of two strains. I'm thinking of picking two of the following strains:

Pennywise
God's Gift
The Church

I always have to flip around 5 weeks because of height issues. And I do like an even canopy. And it would be great if finishing times were the same. LOL!

Any suggestions as to which two would be a good match for this grow?

Thanks, and Happy New Year!

Pennywise and gods gift would probably match up a little better if you want height and finishing times to be real close. Penny wise is 80% indica and finishes flowering in 60-70 days. Gods gift is 90% Indica and its flowering is also finished in 60-70 days. The Church has a little more sativa in it thatn the other two so if you wanted height to stay relatively close then Pennywise and Gods Gift looks good to me my friend. Also don't forget depending on the seed company and generation of the seeds you really can never go by what they tell you on height yield etc cause it all depends on the generation of the Strain and how stable it is. Good Luck.

Height can be real variable, even between two seeds of the same strain, due to phenotype expression.

On the other hand using various topping and LST techniques I think it's pretty easy to keep them relatively even, and on the short side.

Just stick to mixes that are indica dominant and I bet you can pull it off.

Thanks Cpappa and AimAim!

Yeah, I know I can't go by the seed bank info, which is why I was hoping for some input from growers. I had read in a grow journal that the Church might be like Pennywise in that it's a slow vegger. But I'm still pretty sure I'll be tying one of the strains down while elevating the other somewhere in the stretch.

It's all good. I was just looking to see if there was a tiny piece of info out there that might tip my thinking one way or the other.

Pennywise and God's Gift it is!
