The Feds aren't interested in state-legal medical grows at this particular time. They are interested in multi-thousand plant grows. They fly right over the med grows and keep right on truckin.

The Feds can decern between med grows and illegal grows from the air. The med grows are right out in the open where everyone can see them via helicopter.

Med grows are legal in California. Mendo county allows 25 flowering plants per person.

They targeted the med growers in San Diego, that much I remember. I don't trust people who have guns and power, I just don't. I get along with them, I never let them know how I feel, and I actually have a few friends who are LE or former LEO, but.. that's just the way it is. We know where we stand.

I believe the feds targeted the compassion clubs in San Diego County and not the med growers. The San Diego Board of Supervisors were intent upon closing down the clubs and worked with the FEDS to do so.

If we ever reach the point where the federal government is moving into the states to bust people with small medical grows, in compliance with state law, we will be in big trouble.

There was a recent bust in our county, over 2,500 plants if I recollect. They'd brought in a guy from Mexico, had him living there specifically to tend the plants. He's in jail, something like $50K bail. Think he'll be deported?
