Mason jar vs. Latch jar

If u don't want it to smell use turkey bags. U can fit 2 lbs in one bag and completely smell proof. Lil pricey if u buy single packs so get a box from a hydro shop.

a little dab of vaseline on the rubber o-ring will help them last much longer. I remember the instructions for my old maglite said to do this on the rings, they have lasted many many moons....

i cant fit a lot of my bigger buds in the size of mason jar i have, and therefor, i cure in latch. but i frequently find myself using the mason jars more often. i see the latch as more of a long term storage unit for the dankest of the dank. hmm .. interesting

Try your local good will. Mine always has a wide variety for a couple bucks a piece if they are ~1L and 99cents if they are smaller. I also got about 10 little glass plug top stash jars about the size of a pill bottle for 30cents a piece not too long ago.
