Hey guys. So plan on getting a marshydro 120x120cm tent and an Apollo 600w hps kit. (Had links but apparently I can't post them because I need to have had 2 likes first... I have one lol) was gunna order today but just wanted some opinions or other better options for around the same price (within 20 bucks lol). For my budget this works and I'm growing a max of four plants so it seems good to me :)

Hey man did you decide between the cooled hood or open reflector?

HIDs will heat up that tent pretty easily, so make sure you have an idea for ventilation. Also when you get your tent do a quick light leak check for any pinholes near the seams.

I like to check light leaks often too

Will do and was gunna go uncooled for the fact i have to buy gift cards to order off amazon. Will good airflow be good enough for cooling?

Go air cooled and get an inline fan or you will regret it. I have a appolo 600 hps\mh and a virtual sun 600 hps\mh in a 4x5 with an 8inch inline duct down to 6in pulling from both hoods and ac runs all the time

I'll see what I can do haha. It'll be in a cool basement. I'll try to grab a cooled but I'll have to grab 250 in cards. When otherwise I'd just need 200. ( Canadian currency is ass atm) and I could use saving the 50 bucks

Just ordered the Apollo 600w air cooled hood :)
You'll be happy man, aircooled hoods allow you to place the lights closer to the canopy and keep temps more under control. Plus nothing really compares to HID for the money you spend right now, LED remains pricey to match a 600w.
