bro go over in the led section and get some advice there.
Ditto click the link below and post it there or have one of the admins move it for you. Before you do that, make sure you haven't purchased anything MARS or get a refund. You may not like the recommendations because to grow well with LED's you need to invest some cash up-front, but the folks in there are quite knowledgeable and have experience with these MARS panels, including me which is why they're the last thing I'd recommend for flowering lights, your T5's would be better for sure.

Don't buy them (at least without listening to the guys in LED section). A month ago I wasn't sure if I would buy KIND LEDs or other Chinese LEDs, but now I'm 100%positive it would be a waste of money.

Quite making multiple threads about mars. Starting to think you are a mars rep. You know as in ask about them in multiple threads to keep the name at the top.

If your going to go marshydro, assuming you have some sort of budget. Have a look at the sunspect panels, cheaper/build quality on par and they out perform mars on true watt output.

I've got a Mars led and it works fine u just gotta keep the light closer for better penetration
Bonjour
Closer mean more light to cover the area...which means more electricity bill to achieve the same results!
It is what the other tried to explain...mars does produce flowers but not better than t5 and worse than hps!
How much do you pull from your mars?...0.5/0.6gpw?
I prefer produce 2 or 3 time this even if I have to invest 10 times more! and keep it for years because everything run cool!
Have a great year★

This summer I will use my cob at half power...it will increase efficiency and I will be in 1.7gpw range I guess for 220w... (2 x 220w dim to 110w each!)

Yea I have 2 180 watt cheapies and they did get me around 7 oz's of very frosty nugs. But they do not compare to hps at all

It is 0.6gpw you are right worse than hps!
I saw a video from Growmau5 on how to transform a mars pannel in cxb pannel...you just need to buy the chips...he show you how to reuse all the parts...you just need the chips and a philips screwdriver...then you will double your yields!

The eternal debate :)

I just switched from 2x 300W Marshydro lights to custom-made CREE COB lights.

Want to know my REAL, first-hand opinion after growing about 7 months with the 300W lights?
(Mind you, I did not flower with those lights, only veg).

Those are BEGINNER lights and they are "ok" if you can get them cheap, say $70 shipped. Don't ask me about yields or whatever since I can't say anything, but I have reason to believe that yields would be very small.

HOWEVER, for vegging the lights might be "ok lights" (not more, not less), as long as you don't expect too much.
For me it would be unfair to "demonize" the MH lights since I used them for 7 months and I mean my plants DID grow.
Although I always had problems with yellowing at some point of my grows - but here I don't know whether the MH lights had anything to do with it. On the other hand, since it's all about yields etc. (I flower outside on a sunroof) and you plan to use MH for big, fat buds...might be (or pretty likely) that the lights are too weak. My $0.01

you can see the ROYGBIV that's coming off one of my 600's I would say they are well worth the money but it all depends on what kind of plants you are trying to grow how big shape ect.

mars are fine so long as you don't attempt to cover large areas with them!

Stop trying to stick them into 4x4 tents, the results won't even remotely come close to the same as a micro grow.
