As the title states im looking to buy a new light but im slightly confused on all the information and things to compare. Im ready to pull the trigger on the mars hydro ts600 or ts1000.
They are in cart ready to go, but with some more digging ive seen a few other lights that boast samsung diodes and what im guessing is a premium driver. Brands such as viparspectra , bloomspect.....

I guess my question would be whats the better for the price? Am i paying more for a recognizable brand in mars hydro?

would I find the same hardware in the lesser known led lights?

samsung diodes vs the epimax diodes in the mars hydro?

thanks for the help. Havent had to buy new lights since ive started growing and want to make a smart investment.

There is a big difference and with so many other brands offering better parts for slightly more cost, I personally don't feel like mars ts series is relevant tbh.

This video might help a little and give some clarity in the jungle of LED grow lights:

I also recently posted some good tips here. What to look for and why:

I’ve had the ts1000 for a couple grows now, I actually liked it so much I bought a second.

I think out of the 2 in your cart the ts1000 w/ dimmer switch is the better choice, but in the end, it’s gotta fit your needs. I’ve heard of some other ones like Spider farmer, vipar, or even vivosun I think has a new model with Samsung diodes, it’s worth taking a look around and reading into reviews before pulling the trigger so to speak
