Mars FC3000?

Can anybody share their experiences with this unit? Considering it for a 2.5x2x7' tent. Positives/negative?

TIA for you input. Much appreciated.

There's a discount for this light on the best deals thread from a few days ago. You'll have to search back a little to find it. Also the SUNRAISE qb2000 which has a discount code posted today would be good in that size tent.

This is my second grow with this light…lol back story…previously in a 3x3 tent and grow was photo from Jan thru end of May. Fantastic light with def enough juice for those two plants. However, temps F’d me late in May due to outside weather and ballast of light. Those two combos raised tent temps to 93+ in the day. So yield and quality diminished substantially. Obviously not lights fault but power wise the light did it’s job and then some. Great growth overall in veg and good penetration.
Present grow is in a 4x4 2” rigid insulation structure inside a shed which is outside. It’s hot AF right now in NorCal but put the ballast outside the grow room and it certainly helps. Power is at 100% and the light spread is great still even during flower (running autos). I keep the light about 12” and Havnt seen too much if any light burn or bleaching. I do think the spread is better raised up a little more for the 5 autos I have in the room for this light but so far so good. Cost wise…whatever it’s minimal so no concern there. Overall the light is awesome. I may upgrade some day to the 4800 but want to run two grows to see how it does (second grow will be with 6 plants to push the spread and see how it does).
I have no complaints at all this far but we’ll see in about 5 weeks how the density and yield do for these autos to tel me if an upgrade is needed sooner just merely on a spread and intensity need.

Rocking the fc-e 3000 version with no probs. It looks like they updated their regular fc versions with spaced out diodes like they do with the newer fc-e version. So far the fc-e is flowering a 3x3 nicely. I'm sure the regular fc version performs almost identical, only difference is the fc-e version has like 5 diodes per watt using bridgelux and is cheaper. Cool thing about fc-e version is you can space the bars apart and put an extra light in the middle. I threw a cheap purple type led to add to the red spectrum. I'm regretting not using a screen, using string to hold buds up kinda sucks lol.
