mark's perpetual grow

Well the pics I seen in there looked like they needed a bit longer (still quick) but definitely longer, so I’m assuming the 49 days ones were definitely not done.
maybe your right, I don't know, it was a quick search and there no buds shoots, I will give you close up of my buds as time goes on and you can make your own mind up.

The very top set of fan leaves are starting to become yellow, the set fan leaves directly below these are green, they are still feeding the lower set of nodes /bud sites.
As the buds ripen working from the top down, the fan leaves will start to die off(unless your leaves pumped with too much food and has to store it), if the plants low on Nitrogen the leaves at the bottom will turn yellow first(these leaves are still green).

Starting from the top I will remove the leaves as they turn yellow and the light will get deeper in the canopy and ripen up the lower buds sites.
if the buds are not ready in 9 days, I will keep them going but I have flowered off this plant(phoneo) a few times (taking cutting last week in veg).

so the results of my home made led's all of 75w
good light spread 47cm x 75cm(veg room) 12" above the canopy (409 par, replaced the reflectors to constrate the light on the canopy, less on the walls, also reduced the space between the lights a few weeks back)
Just potted them up in 7.5ltr pots.IMG_0504.JPG

My six plants, 4 plants on the right are from seed(critical bulk) and other 2 are cutting from the same plant
Here 2 critical bulk plants without the pot so you can see the roots

They were getting a little root bound(stressed) and needed to be potted up.(from 2ltr up to 7.5ltr)
I brought the seeds 4 weeks ago, so not a bad result.

This is a great guild when to harvest, this site have lots of helpful tutorials.

Nearly all the pistils have darkened and cured in, there not drinking as much, watering every 3 days and the odor from these plants is very strong, I will be chopping them down in the next few days.
Just a zoomed in single pic bro? Those plants looks very immature still

Yes, I was, he followed me around on the threads so I jumped on this grow diary, said one comment and I had everyone against me.
went onto Grass city forums, they're a friendly lot, (mark.home.grown).
lost interest in uploading pictures on this diary, (stopped taking pictures)

I brought the critical bulk seeds dropped them in water and potted them up, few times, just potted the plant up into a 7.5ltr pot and I was told I have to move in late February, giving me 10 weeks :o
so I potted the plants up into the 29ltr that day and flowered them off
3.5 weeks in veg.
now I am 4 weeks in flower(12/12 flip).
will upload some pics later

I thought you should all know, bk78 has now jumped on my grow diary on forum.grasscity, he is more than welcome, I don't hold a grudge, TBH I think he can funny fuck at times and I like the banter to a point.

To cover a 1.1m x 1.1m, I am using 360w, grams per watt, I recon the led will pull double the HPS
The led is 28" above the canopy, I think my reflectors are a little narrow, If I made them a little wider I could get the led closer to the canopy and use fewer bulbs, edges of the leaves turn up any closer.

I do remove the diffuser.
This is where I got the idea from

What are you using to measure your par levels?
If you chose "dimmable" bulbs you could always run them all through a dimmer to have control of intensity if plants are getting too close.

These charts show the bulb is effective and it will last about 2 years (heavily used 12/12)

I use a lux meter and covert it on this website
keep my lux about 39k-45k

it's not exact, but seems to work out between 742 and 856

That's a good idea about dimmable bulbs, but if you design the panel for the room, you should be able to run it 100%, the light penetration is really good, dimmable bulbs cost a lot more and these LEDs don't give off any heat, that's the downside.

Do me this experiment - Check the light intensity at the plant canopy and then 12" down from that reading on both the hps and led sides.
Interested if you have the same observation I do with the bulbs
