Welcome back everyone,​

I am sure glad to be back.​

You guys are probably more wondering what I have going on, so lets get to it.​

I have got a 6 inch cool tube with high grade reflector, a squirrell cage fan modified to accomodate a 6 inch round duct This fan pulls mad amounts of air through the tube.​

I originally bought the cooltube that only had one single socket for a light installed in it like most cooltubes , I used it for a cycle and I was impressed by the yield for one single 600 watt hps. (I will upload pictures of that grow at a later time).​

I Modified the cooltube after speaking with the manufacturer, they agreed to sell me another light housing that is designed for the cooltube already equipped with the cord and socket, If I was going to purchase of a second 600 watt digital ballast ballast.​

I also recieved free 600 watt MH and a 600 watt HPS bulbs, a timer and 2 extra pulleys for free from the manufacturer because I bought the rest of the items.​

I modified the cooltube so that it now holds 1 single 600 watt HPS light and also 1 single 600 watt MH​

Making this posibly the first 1200 watt cooltube.​

I am hoping to greatly increase my yield with this method, while not changing nutrients.​

I am still using the 100% ORGANIC Advanced Nutrients, Iguana Juice: Grow & Advanced Nutrients, Iguana Juice: Bloom.​

I do have the room to set up the lights side by side giving me more coverage and a larger garden.​

I also could have put 2 600 watt HPS lights in it but that wasn't the idea. ​

I only want to see what can grow within the boundaries of the cool tube with 1 600 watt HPS and 1 600 watt MH. the plants only stick out from under the reflector maby 2 inches from either side.
(the measurements are shown in the pictures)​

I have also re-vegged plants that I have already harvested and I am currently re-flowering some of them under my 400 watt HPS high bay light that was converted and was the feature of previous grows.​

I always wondered if you could do two bulbs in a Cool Tube. My idea was two 400W's or two 600W's in a vertical grow. I've never seen one so I think you're the first, on RIU anyway. I think you'll get better quality with your mixed spectrum. I'm doing a trial with CMH, HPS, & Infrared, so I've been doing research. Positive for your set-up.

The funny thing is I was going to do a vertical grow.
Maby later on down the road I will do a vertical grow.

What's up my brother? Been a long time since you've been in this neck of the woods and it looks like your coming back with a vengeance. it's good to have you back. I like the cool tube and now you got me wanting to do the same. What strains you got going this time? I just got done harvesting my three outdoor ladies, I had to chop a little early because of the wind knocking my plants down and busting branches. I haven't updated my journal yet but will be very soon. I got lots of pics and probably around 2 lbs of herb, maybe more.

I am growing Hindu Kush + Purple Kush, this round.
I am glad to hear you got a decent harvest.
I was too busy this summer to have the time to do an outdoor garden of my own.
but a True story, when I was up on the boat this summer, with the wife. (Okanagan Lake, British Columbia). We anchored the boat so that we could go over to a little private beach that we noticed while out on the lake.
We decided to go for a little wilderness hike through a little trail and see where it went..
Didn't We find atleast 100 plants, these things were like a meter high and like a meter wide, I was very impressed, they were just starting to develop buds, Definately well taken care of crop. It looked like a Sea Of Green Outdoor.
This old guy in a wheelchair comes down the trail out of nowhere, with his wife and a cellphone, threatening to call the police and asking me and my wife if we were planning on taking some of there medical marijuana.
We assured them that we were just out boating and that we just happened to find his beach and found his garden by following a trail from the lake and we meant him or his garden no harm.
I explained to this guy that I in fact grow marijuana my self and that I would like to share some of my smoke with him and also some of the pictures of my grow off of my camera, he told me that he cant smoke the stuff due to years of smoking and that the reason he needs such a large supply is so that he can use the stuff to make food and CANCER CURE HEMP OIL. We chat for a good hour or so. He then goes on to give me an OZ of his marijuana, by the way was the most chronic weeed I have ever smoked.. The thing is that he didn't have a name for this strain. (only in British Columbia, Canada)
I will upload some pictures of his garden into an album and give you the link so that you can check it out.. very impressive.

I use Advanced Nutrients, Iguana Juice: Grow & Advanced Nutrients, Iguana Juice: Bloom. So far it has been excellent, and i am very impressed.
I currently grow in Sunshine Mix #4,

However I first started to grow hydroponically.

Hey try not to put so much large pics on one page I think it makes all our comps fuck up I had to shut it down to get out the page, do those lil pics that we have to click on. I like the other pics better tho the big one but they are a pain to get out of if you do alot of pics, good luck in the grow bro.

Glad you had a good time on your trip. It sounds like you could of been is some serious shit with the old man. Your lucky he was understanding and that it didn't turn out like something you would see in a movie.

Great Story. That Old guy sounds cool. I believe you that the guy grew the best Chronic. Was it Simpson Oil? I love pics like that BTW. It's all I do now. thumbnails suck, and take longer to view. Keep it up.
