It's filled with good ideas but is poorly written and will be abused on implementation by local governments and law enforcement. That being said it's still a giant step forward and you can't let the perfect be the enemy of the good enough. We'll probably never get perfect legislation. This is good enough. I completely support it.

You know I don't think they even really care out here anymore. I'm in the bay area. I got pulled over for some asshat pedestrian. My stepkid used to drive my car often and he always left the damn pipes in the glove box.

Anyway I tried to ignore it bit the cop asked to see it. Told him who left it. He just laughed and gave it back. No ticket.

Not the only time cops look the other way of bud. I carry my script with me anyway. But what you said is the truth. Glad you posted . Step to some what positive. Decriminalization should be good enough.

Someone stole my registration sticker off my car. Got pulled over with compactor bags of fresh ak on the way to the trim house. Was really, really, obvious. There is no way you could not smell that. Cop ignored it. I <3 Cali

I got pulled over going down the 680 from Tracy into Livermore. Family member had just past away and I had some cherry pie in a chillum. I made the mistake of smoking, but i was stressed blah blah....got pulled over for slowing down. I was trippin out too cuz just finished burning thinking how could i be so stupid. CHP asked me to do a dui test and let me go...and said ...AIR IT OUT BETTER!!! and left.
Never did that again
