Marijuana Business & The Military

I´m kind of stuck on something. I know the government and the military in general frown upon marijuana USE. However, I was wondering if anyone has any experience wih the military and being involved in the medical marijuana business, i.e. owning a dispensary or being invested in the industry.

I want nothing more than to serve my country but the opportunity has presented itself to invest in the business, and I would hate to be disqualified for enlistment because of my involvement in the industry.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I would imagine they dont give a shit about your legal growing activities as long as you can pass the physical----DRUG TEST.

I was in Army Infantry 4 years, and my friend who was also in the service got busted for his grow house while enlisted. He was kicked out. I was caught in a piss test once, they take ur rank for pissing hot. They will never accept it if you smoke pot, they randomly piss test. Think about it, you cant have both man. I said goodbye to the army when i realized i cant have both worlds. although, if your sneaky, you can get away with smoking on the job. I used hidden bowls and joints hidden in cigs, and i would hide in the woods and toke when people thought i was sleepin. lol you would need some fake urine on hand tho, cuz if they smell it they are going to test you immediately on the spot.

lol that´s pretty ballsy, but I wasn´t thinking of smoking in the military, just having a legal dispensary on the side, not just a grow house or somehting like that. Thanks for the input though.

Thank you for your service. I see that no one really gave you an answer so let me see if i can help. its an easy doobie. First off, its not just simply opening up a business that you would normally see a franchise such a subway, mcdonald's, and etc on a military base. Due to the nature of what you are wanting to open, its is still -ILLEGAL- under federal law to distribute/dispensary/and everything about mary j Period!!!. Guess what juristriction the military fall under? yes, Federal. So the simple answer to your question is No you cannot open one up inside the military base. Not until they change the federal law which i highly doubt something like that will happen anytime soon.

Thanks for replying but again, I think there was a misunderstanding. I am not looking to open one up inside, or near a base, or any federal ground. Just generally speaking, is owning or being invested in a legal dispensary/mmj business grounds for being denied an enlistment.

Now you are more clearier about what you mean. if there is a will then there is a way! being invested, partners, or involve in a collective should be fine. if you don't tell and i don't tell then how will they know right? they would not know about your business anyways unless if you were to be investigated or busted then there is definitely grounds not to allow your enlistment. if they do know then most likely you are not getting in. the important thing is not let anyone know. hope that answer your question.

You start up a business that will own a business. It might cost you more money. For example, I have a very rich friend that is a lawyer and very respected. He started a LLC name (no physical location). This business is partnered in bars and stripclubs. He did this to keep his name off the paper work. There's always a way around things.

If someone was really searching for him they'd find him though, but it wouldn't be easy.
