just wordering how many of you have been and some of your favorite stories. my first time there was in 1979. the ship i was serving on was called to duty, the new orleans police were on strike and the military was stepping in to help. i've been back every year since then except a hand full of times and i'm stuck at home this weekend knowing that my beloved party city is only 8 hours away. one of my favorite memories was a crew of us rented a u haul moving truck and camped out of the back of it down on the piers.
