HERE IS WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE RAID SO FAR
Only one person has benefited from this raid & that is DONALD J TRUMP
Trumps poll numbers are thru the roof now - especially among INDEPENDENTS.
On the international stage & media (that means outside of the leftist American echo chamber), the FBI and the left are being described as CORRUPT as hell to the entire world.

Who knows - maybe Trump actually DID have TOTALLY CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS that the FBI are now free to look at... meanwhile the public awaits to hear what the documents ARE.

So far - nobody has benefited from it MORE than Trump

That's all we know RIGHT NOW with 100% CERTAINTY

or MAYBE - you all finally got the guy who hurt your feelings - and that will feel glorious
until the further right wing DeSantis gets the nomination - and you are back to square one having to come up with new frauds and scams

sorry the statute of limitations has run out on those. And McCain is dead. But I do remember when the republicans impeached Bill for having consensual sex with an adult of legal age. :roll:

Conclusion?:
There was no provision in the Presidential Records Act to force the National Archives to seize records from a former president.
The DOJ successfully argued this and its never been appealed.

Some neat highlights from U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson in Washington D.C.,

"Under the statutory scheme established by the PRA, the decision to segregate personal materials from Presidential records is made by the President, during the President's term and in his sole discretion,"



"Since the President is completely entrusted with the management and even the disposal of Presidential records during his time in office, it would be difficult for this Court to conclude that Congress intended that he would have less authority to do what he pleases with what he considers to be his personal records,"

"Because the audiotapes are not physically in the government's possession, defendant submits that it would be required to seize them directly from President Clinton in order to assume custody and control over them," Jackson noted. "Defendant considers this to be an 'extraordinary request' that is unfounded, contrary to the PRA's express terms, and contrary to traditional principles of administrative law. The Court agrees."

And who was this Defendant? The Department of Justice.

Jackson also concluded that a decision to challenge a president's decision lies solely with the National Archives and can't be reviewed by a court. If the Archives wants to challenge a decision, that agency and the attorney general can initiate an enforcement mechanism under the law, but it is a civil procedure and has no criminal penalty, she noted.

Oh the irony... Democrats worrying about Trump reading and understanding anything more important than a fast food menu? Imagine Trump sitting in a dimly lit basement pouring over documents. Lol, I can't even. I start laughing every time I think about Trump doing anything but staring in the mirror or watching Fox news.

I certainly hope that this is not an attempt at eliminating Trump’s chances of running in 2024, because if this backfires, which it likely will, you will have paved his road to victory.

A proxy war with Russia through Ukraine, poking China about what equates to an internal governance issue, runaway inflation and a housing crisis isn't going to be a popular record to run on. You're wearing yourselves pretty thin don't ya think?

Be careful America, your weakness is showing. That's why Russia and China aren't afraid of you, you're distracted with your internal struggle for absolute control over your population. A fool's errand if you ask me.
