did they need to? nope.

all they had to do to me was start charging me an annual fee, which gave me every right to shut down the account, at which point they magically stopped receiving my monthly payments in order to charge massive late fees. i had never missed a payment before over the course of years.

so i decided to just stop paying them. eventually they made settlement offers, which i waited out until they were ridiculously low.

sorry if that makes you sad.
Not sad at all, was just wondering if that's what happened to you. A buddy of mine had cc with BoA and he was 2 days late with a payment after 5 years perfect. His rate went up to 22% and they charged him several fees.

It was in the gajillion pages of crap they send out with your new shiney card and he didn't have a legal leg to stand on. That doesn't mean I support it.

No, not a fan of BoA practices, or many of the other investment banks that took our monies.

I still maintain that if everyone did what you did BoA would no longer exist and what you did didn't hurt BoA as much as it was just passed onto it's honest customers. I feel like if I borrow money, I should pay it back. That's just me though, you can do whatever.

you can put "strategic" in front of the word default all you want. Doesn't make it anything other than a default and you a pathetic bum. Keep mooching of 200kg chanice...
since i was able to pay, it was not a simple default. i chose not to pay, making it a strategic default.

words have meanings, ya know.

actions have meanings too. i don't know anyone who would befriend a white supremacist, like you did.

I had a BoA inside work that gave employees free accounts. Deposited check went about my business. Debit card denied one day just out of nowhere should have had a $1200 balance.

Teller says sir there is zero balance nothing we can do as if I were a scammer. I asked to see any withdrawls for the past week and teller asks the next customer in line can I help you.

I produced the most recent receipt complete with balance. BoA apologized for the "computer error".

Made a full withdrawal and closed the account on the spot.

Now thats what I call service.

Default is a default and you're a bum nonetheless. If actions have meaning, you're membership over at stormfront must be somewhat of a concern - you seem to advertise the fact.

Although at the end of the day we can't all be as savvy as a dope dealer or your plethora of failures...

why is there a specific term from the practice known as strategic default then?

you're an unemployed povo that grows shit weed. There is nothing planned about your situation, you were born into it. You told me your parents encouraged your drug use and sales during your teenage years. Limited means produces limited individuals.

You need to make a church where you and your ilk can go worship the business class, because it's bordering on religiosity.

Yes let's blame the government for paying decent wages, and omit blame on the business class for making the policies that have placed government in bankruptcy in order to do away with institutions of democracy and replace them with autocratic institutions (corporations) where workers are forced to rely on their employers simply to live. This conveniently makes it impossible for workers to determine their own lives or bargain for wages and benefits.
Blah, blah, blah.

All you have to do is look at California, it's been run by the liberal left for over forty years, I cited the proof, there's no denying it.

You can talk all you want about fairness and income equality. The fact is, the left's trickle up theory doesn't work and California is a testament to it.

California the worlds 8th largest economy with a multi billion dollar budget surplus?
The one that is getting out of the Red after years of being run into the ground by a Republican govenor?
