The driver of the Contour, Brandon Little, 17, of Columbus, and two passengers, Zachary Little, 14, and Chandler Higgenbothem, 17, were transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital after the crash.
Their ages lead me to believe they were not competent to operate the vehicle.

I can smoke a blunt and ride a bike/car all day, but thats just because I know what I'm doing.

If your an inexperienced smoker, and an inexperienced driver your bound to have an accident. That's just common sense.

Experienced smoker, experienced driver? I got no problem with that.

More fool you i'm afraid, no way should anyone be smoking and driving, its just plain stupid.
How long have you been smoking? How long have you been driving?

I'm willing to bet either your a rook smoker, or a rook driver.

I will not drive drunk, or tripping on any substances, but I will drive high on Cannabis all day.

UK cops are persisting in introducing a series of roadside tests for stoned drivers, despite a study released by the UK Transport Research Laboratory in August 2000, which found that pot-smoking has a minimal if not beneficial effect on driving performance.
The government-funded study was launched under pressure from anti-drug and driving groups, and was an embarassment to the British Ministers who had expected it to support their anti-stoned-driving campaigns.

Abstract: This report concerns the effects of marijuana smoking on actual driving performance. It presents the results of one pilot and three actual driving studies. The pilot study's major purpose was to establish the THC dose current marijuana users smoke to achieve their desired "high". From these results it was decided that the maximum THC dose for subsequent driving studies would be 300 mcg / kg (0.3 mg / kg). The first driving study was conducted on a closed section of a primary highway. After smoking marijuana delivering THC doses of 0, 100, 200, and 300 mcg / kg, subjects drove a car while maintaining a constant speed and lateral position. This study was replicated with a new group of subjects, but now in the presence of other traffic. In addition, a car following test was executed. The third driving study compared the effects of a modest dose of THC (100 mcg / kg) and alcohol )BAC of 0.04 g %) on city driving performance. This program of research has shown that marijuana, when taken alone, produces a moderate degree of driving impairment which is related to the consumed THC dose. The impairment manifests itself mainly in the ability to maintain a steady lateral position on the road, but its magnitude is not exceptional in comparison with changes produced by many medicinal drugs and alcohol. Drivers under the influence of marijuana retain insight in their performance and will compensate where they can, for example, by slowing down or increasing effort. As a consequence, THC's adverse effects on driving performance appear relatively small.

I'm actualy amazed you guys don't have more carnage on the roads with being able to drive at such a young age.
Over here, you can get a learners licence (means you have to be accompanied by a licenced driver) at 17 and a drivers at 18.

Here you can get a permit at 15 and a half years, and a license at 16.

Go to DMV, take motorcycle permit test, take a 30 question test & dont get 7 wrong. Go to dealership, buy Hayabusa (1340cc hyper sport bike) and ride legally!

It's that ridiculous

Don't you guys know?! Even if you rape and murder young school girls, as long as you repent, god will forgive and accept you..............what?!

Anyway, subject at hand, the driving age where I'm from is similar to what someone already said above, 15 years you can get a learner licence and drive with one person only in the car and that person has to have had their full licence for atleast 2 years, then you get a restricted licence where you can only drive alone, and during the day, and then you can go for your full licence. It takes roughly 2-2 1/2 years all up to be a fully leagal driver.

But there will always be the fucking idiots who go around thinking they know what they are doing.
And I think driving a car baked is perfectly fine, but riding a bike high, I dunno, I mean when you're riding you have to be so much more aware, not only with yourself, but more so with other drivers, it's like people don't see or hear you coming it's incredible!

But yeah, riding I think is a little dodgey. Even when you aren't high depending on where you live it can be crazy.

I've been known to hit the bong changing lanes on a 7 lane freeway & I live with the worst drivers I've seen in my world travels (lets just say ive been around)

lol srsly? definitely sounds like a rookie smoker.
hahaha yeah. Notice how he never replied?

Nothing wrong with being a rookie smoker, just keep your ears open to learn, and know your place. bongsmilie

I can't remember the last time i wasn't stoned and driving. I actually drive a bit more cautiously. it's not that smoking makes me paranoid, but i just see no need to hurry while I'm high :)
