How long are you into the flowering cycle? What grow method are you using? There are so many things it could be...pH...ppm...temps...humidity...give me this info and I will try to help!!

What does your EC/TDS meter tell you? Yeah... that's what I thought. Try changing out the res.

Ok...so the problem most likely isn't your temps, pH, or your humidity. Optimally DWC works best when the pH is very close to 5.8, though it can be out of range a bit and you wouldn't really notice. One thing I do recommend is that you should switch to an HPS bulb if you can. It isn't the cause of your problem of course, though switching to an HPS bulb will give you about 30% higher yeilds, and the bud will be much more firm compared to the fluff an MH usually gives. As for your problem, it seems to me that it would be something in the nutes. Like the last guy said, I would change the res and lower your ppm. What is it at right now? Many nute manufacturers say to go up more than you need, since if you use more, they sell more, and what is best to do is go by your plants. They do have the classic signs of nute burn. Anyway, tell us if the nutes are the problem.

Looks to me like Mg deficiency. Dunno could be K, Mg and Ca.

Are the leaves curling up at the edges on affected plants?

Also you may not want to cut the shade leaves off unless diseased or moldy, even in rough shape the plant needs them to photosynthesize. It will shed them when its good and ready.

You do have a tds meter right?? If not then yes it could be burn if your soln is out of whack.
