Male Seed Sheded Pollen! HELP!

I have a 2 month into flowering blueberry (4 feet tall) and about 5 little ones (1 foot or less). Anyway, one of my little blueberries was male and I was keeping it so I could collect pollen, but one of the sacs opened early! Only one though, so that's good.

I have the males shut in a box (although not exactly air-tight) below the female. I wouldn't think that this means 100% chance of pollenization? I mean, maybe a few of the flowers, sure, but not the whole entire plant is going to be crawling with seeds, right? Even with direct exposure from an open sac, it wouldn't pollenate the bud to hell would it?

Also, the female only has about 1-2 weeks left anyway before harvest. About 1/6 of the hairs are turning red. I heard that once they start turning red, they can't even collect pollen any longer. Shouldn't be a problem, I would think?

Shouldn't be a problem, you won't get many .I like a few seeds anyway - you could have a whole new variety if you are lucky. Start thinking up names!
(I have had seeds (1or 2) from VERY female SuperSkunk plants, with no Male around for miles) Are you keeping the pollen for a smoke? is nice stuff, not too strong but nice

UMMM... get rid of that MALE... i hope I am wrong.. but anytime I have been around a SINGLE male plant, all the females get seeded.... that pollen is pretty amazing.. it is made to travel 50 miles by wind...

keep us posted... cheers
