Male preflowers?

This is my first grow that has gotten thisfar. One of my babies is showing all the hairs, but her counterpart hasn't. Im curious if these little growths are male preflowers. Im pretty sure they are, but dont want to toss a good plant without confirmation.

So I waited and all the pretty hairs popped up Now I have a new concern. Clawing. None of my fan leaves are clawing but the leaves around the bud sites look rough. The plant has been watered. I haven't added any nutes since flowering began.
