So I recently found 1 of my first 3 plants is male and the other 2 are female (woooo!!)
I'm growing indoors but I also have outdoor possibilities.
I don't want to kill my male because I want to experiment on him. I might also want to collect his pollen because he looks like he has some great genetics and he has endured a lot as a lamp fell on him right before transplanting
. He recovered nicely, although he seems rather stunted compared to my other 2 plants who are females (seems strange that my male is smaller than my females since males are usually larger...)
Anyway, I moved my male to my outdoor balcony area and I'm keeping my females inside. I was wondering how far does male pollen travel? I'm worried about my male pollinating my females. I could plant my male in the wild somewhere if his pollen travels 1/8 mile or more. Anyone have any knowledge on the distance male/hermaphrodite cannabis pollen travels to fertilize female cannabis plants?
