Male Pods- how big b4 seedy bud

I find sexing plants to be a real bitch. Unless you can see a pistil or a couple male pods (which can be very hard to do) i never wanna pull. I've found that when i cant determing, yet see they are starting to show sex, it still takes a while to see if some balls or a pistil is gonna emerge. So all this got me to wondering, how big can the pods get before you'll end up with a bunch of seedy bud assuming that the plants are in close proximity to one another ie 3 feet or so.

thanks

Ideally unless you want seeds the male should be out as soon as you know it is a male.

Supposedly, the female will start seeding within 7 ds of being pollenated.

I have yet to see that personally.
I hope to have crossed some strains by the end of the year.

I will be pulling any males and putting them under a veg cycle just for the pollen.

I try to keep clones going.

I want to start some new seeds though of better strains.
With any males I intend to use the pollen on 1 or 2 of
my clones.

I wish I had the space and money to do more.

If all goes well I hope to have several oz's of 3 diff strains of bud I grew by the end of the year.
