My 2 plants are 2 weeks into flowering and I can see they are coming along however the flowers are still small but I can see buding but I cant tell if they are male or female, how many weeks into flowering should I be able to see a clear gender in my plants?

You should be able to tell any day now, a week at most. Make sure you pull those males. Only two white hairs at the nodes, no balls. :)

Ya after close examination I think its a male, which really sucks cause the plant was good size 30in tall =( I looked around the nodes and I see tiny balls on very small stems, man what a bummer. My other plant which is around 12in tall is in flower as well and Im starting to see the same thing it appears! I must have horrible luck to land 2 out of 2 males on my first grow ever lol.

Wait it out a little bit... those tiny balls might mature a bit and become almost almond shape and spit out the two hairs that means it's a female. What could it hurt I mean if you have 2 males then you have two males. Its worth making sure though... keep em alive a bit longer and keep me posted.

It's just part of growin weed. I had 10 out of 14 males my first grow. It will get better. Hang in there.

Do any of you others think this could happen? I just simply dont have the experience to know, so help a brother out.

Can a female actually look like a male at early flower?

Sorry to hear your luck bro. It's all a numbers game, the more plants to grow, the better the odds!. Good luck on the next one:peace:

Wow... thanks man. Let me explain so I can stop leaving you posts trying to help and you can ask someone else if the person that is actually trying to help you is right or not. I never said that I was right. As a matter of fact I said it could be a possibility if they still aren't distinctly showing signs of sex. The beginning stages of a plant showing its sex can be very similar looking. Females show two hairs that sprout from an almost almond shape pod at the nodes which can resemble MALES in early flowering. Hope that helps... I won't be posting anymore. If you have any questions regarding my post maybe you can post under me asking if anyone else has heard of this. Better yet, I have a great idea! You can take pictures of your plants with a zoomed in shot at the nodes and get a much better response or actually do some research on this site and look for a plant that is similar to what yours looks like.

That seemed a little rude to post that under someone who was trying to help you out...
