Male or female?

what do u think about mine....

To early to tell just yet... If you'd have not topped them, they'd probably be showing.. =) That's why I hate messing with them at all, until I know for sure that they are female. That way I don't put my hopes and dreams into something that I am going to end up cutting down because it's a male......

Not saying that topping is a bad thing, or that you did it wrong, not at all, I just have my own preference of waiting. =)

Nice plant by the way, I am hoping it is female, it has the look of one, nice short fat stumpy, internode spacing is short... let's hope! Always at this point my wife goes and sweet talks them in to being females.. Give it a try. =)

2 nd picture either is just a bit you have left on when you topped it of more than likely a male,un - less it has a pistol shooting out

I've actually had this happen once... ONLY once..... I had a plant that I was PRETTY darn sure was a male.. It had the classic un opened single premature little male flower on a stalk..

So I topped it.... because man this plant was just so beautiful I was in denial that I saw a male flower...

IT came back a female.

Don't ask me. Maybe it was a hermie, or maybe it was female all along... it did not produce anymore male flowers. I am pretty darn certain that it was a male pre flower.

are you sure that you just did not top this back to the two node's it might just be a bit ya missed if not then i would have to say male
u know what, on this cutting-I did it a little early and I think I may have missed, because the exact same thing happened on the other secondary. same spot (coming out of where I topped it). I cut them off just to be sure, somebody suggested I do that.

what do you guys think about this one? she was planted the same day I planted my other1 (been outta the ground for 3 weeks and 6 days now). she really started looking good (I think so) the past week or so. she came up a little sideways, I didn't think it was going to live... but shes like 2 inches tall and 3 tops, and I haven't topped or don't ANYthing to this plant. Anybody ever had this happen to them, and what were the results?????

first of all styrofoam is bad get some plastic one from the dollar store. This happens to me all the time with bag seed. Not sure why but one side of the plant top gets stunted for some reason and that allows the rest of the node to grow out to catch up. Same thing as fimming or topping.

They grow just fine. Sometime it will keep doing the same thing on the same side but that just mean you don't have to top it.
