Its not quite that simple mate,if it was ppl wouldn't be on here complaining about male plants. What ur sayin is on the right track but its not as simple as ur makin it out to be

U musn't know ur stuff that much if u cant tell male from female, and seeds from a self-seeded plant have a high rate of genetic mutations, the hermied female is pollinated by a different male altogether for fem seeds, its still not fool-proof though.

P.S i thought u called me head fuck b4 but i read it wrong,thats y i wrote wat i did.

From the pics I could not tell the sex. I think you need to wait it out, 16 hours from the light cycle change is not enough for them to show sex. If they are indeed clones then you most likely have all females. So are these Snow white from Nirvana seeds? I picked up a pack of femmed seeds from there and not a single one survived past 1" tall. I talked to Nirvana about it any they sent me another pack.... free of charge. I'm excited to see how they turn out. I'm subscribed so keep posting pics please!
Will do mate they had their first 12 hours of dark on 16th February 1800h GMT-0600h GMT and 4 are definitely female as I have budded one plant before nice the motivation for the EL-nino the seeds came from a grower who had one plant produce seeds it was female and pollinated itself he says as he makes his own fem seeds and this is how you do it only think is he never meant this batch of seeds but what I understand from high times is that plants that were female and turn male only produce female seeds that info came from their website.

No problem mate I am a beginner and is a learning curve but like I said I get all my information from high times host of the cannabis cup they have web tutorial videos and good information just relaying what I read after being told this by a grower investigated it first and he was right are we both wrong have you any links for me to read?

Nah dont have any links, just ask the more experienced on here they'll give u all the info on it,i don't know the ins & outs of it myself but im pretty sure growing seeds from a self-seeded plant isnt the done thing.Something to do with the genetics,it'd be like knockin ur sister up,u know that kids gonna be fuked up. (not u personally)

Know wat im sayin?

The more lumens the better so seeing cfls are cheap as fuk have a look at my grow diary shows you how to make a 350 cfl with 3x90 1x60 = 330 watts of light free 2700k soldiering iron hot glue gun plug some cable but do not let anyone tell you different add the cfls up 250w per 4 plants will do 500w cfl awesome crop. I use combination of cfl and metal halide and high power sodiums but cfls more the merrier

doubt it... and its way to early to tell man.. when it shows sex.. you'll know. it's really not that hard to tell.
I do think this as I know 4 are female and could tell straight away I have never seen a male though so am so paranoid not seeing the difference for my self

All im seeing are stipules, which arent a sign of sex at all,its pretty unlikely they're showin sex after 2 days flower.
Its even more unlikely that all 17 would be female.
17 out of 17 were female as the came from a hermi and as everyone knows hermi seeds are 99% female it was know shock but seeing is beleaveing and all i have ever seen is females can anyone show me a male lol

"there are 3 types of sex genes that can be expressed..

female
male
hermaphrodite

it was found that if you stressed a female to produce pollen sacs (aka, make it hermie) the pollen contained within the sacs would only have 2 of the 3 available sex types; female and hermie.. the male gene (at this point) is removed from the equation... they would take this hermie pollen and use it to pollinate another female (or the same one) and thus the first "fem'd" seeds were made.. the problem with it is there is almost a greater chance of the seeds containing hermie genetics and not pure female genetics...

that brings us to now... breeders, true breeders, dont use the stress method... they have found a better way that ensures 99.9% of the seeds produced are 100% female... they use colloidal silver or other chemical sprays (CS is the most common used) to force the female to produce pollen sacs... this is different than stressing them... the difference is that the pollen contained in a chemical treated female that produces sacs is, well, 99.9% female... very very rarely (if you get the seeds from a reputable breeder) will you find a hermie using this method..."
simsamp420.

You do not get feminized seeds from a self-pollinated,self-seeded hermie. If u got 17 pure females ur just a lucky motherfucker.

I am doing the same. I have done a lot of reading and it seems that the Hot Shot No Pest Strip is everyone's choice as far as spider mite control. I was able to pick one up at my local grocery store for 7 bucks. I put it in my cab yesterday so I am not sure of the results. I also treated the res with azamax and wiped the leaves with a paper towel with azamax on it. I am already 7 weeks into flower so I cant spray.

If your using hermi seeds, i'll show you a plant that is likely to be hermi again, as well as having unstable growth. it can also hurt the yield. its not stable..
