Thank you! It’s two separate plants. I’m thinking I planted them to close but after I figure out the gender I’ll cut the male down (hopefully ones a female).nice structure!

I had a “mystery” seed pop with another in the same pot before. Best to separate ASAP before their roots get entangled. Mine were at the point were I had to cut a bit of the roots. Luckily , they bounced back after separation. If you keep them together they most likely will fight for food and growth will be all f’d up. Just thought I’d chime in bc I’ve had this happen. Good luckThank you! It’s two separate plants. I’m thinking I planted them to close but after I figure out the gender I’ll cut the male down (hopefully ones a female).
Should I go ahead and pull the smaller one? Before it goes too far?RF,
Not trying to sound negative, but it may not be recommended to plant two plants in the same container and then kill one.
That would leave dead or dying plant matter in with a plant that you are trying to grow and keep healthy.
Plant look good though.
Way to early to sex them.
Good luck,

If you kill the smaller one, what if the larger one turns out to be male???Should I go ahead and pull the smaller one? Before it goes too far?
Thank you so much for the help! Is it possible to remove the smaller one and put it in a soil medium? Because I only have one Hydro set up. This is my first grow really guys thank you!If you kill the smaller one, what if the larger one turns out to be male???
I take it these are 'regular' seed, as there is a question of male or female.
Both plants could turn out to be male...then you're killing both.
Both plants could turn out to be female...then you could just keep both. (not ideal, but possible)
Or you could have one of each sex, probably the worse situation. (kill one, dead plant in with the plant your keeping)
I like @BobThe420Builder suggestion of trying to separate them. You will do some damage to the roots no matter how careful you are, (they will recover), but you shouldn't kill the plants.
I have never done anything but hydro.Thank you so much for the help! Is it possible to remove the smaller one and put it in a soil medium? Because I only have one Hydro set up. This is my first grow really guys thank you!
Completely possible, cannabis is a durable plant.Thank you so much for the help! Is it possible to remove the smaller one and put it in a soil medium? Because I only have one Hydro set up. This is my first grow really guys thank you!
Well when I did it I was thinking 50-50 chance one turns female. LOL I know noob.May I ask what made you decide to put two plants in a single bucket?
Weeds tend to steal nutrients from others instead of cooperating with them. Trees and vegetables will trade nutrients between root zones but I think a weed plant will steal from and strangle another. They also have explosive root growth that takes a lot of room.Well when I did it I was thinking 50-50 chance one turns female. LOL I know noob.
