Male Hermie or just male?

This is my first grow and I have 2 plants. One for sure is a female and this one I know is a male but my question is... Can anyone tell me whether this is strictly a male or if its a male hermaphrodite? I would have liked the pics to be better but my cam wont take good close up shots. Some of the pollen sacs appear to have "hairs" and they are forming bud sites.

males grow buds too, but there filled with seeds

so a male doesnt have to pollinate a female to get seeds?

Male Cannibis does not produce seeds - they simply pollenate the female. The females produce the seeds.

Males don't make seeds, females do. Uless it's hermi. It will always make seeds. That on the other hand, looks like a pure male. I don't see any female parts at all.

That's a male, and if the pictures just dont show the hairs you are seeing, that's male enough to not grow. It'll only end up full of empty pollen sacs.

I figured even if it was a male I may keep it for the THC in the leaves till i get my grows going and for the seeds in the female. I dont know if I can handle the amount of pollen tho

there is no THC on the male leaves. all the THC is produced by the female pistils

Not quite true - male cannabis plants do contain THC.

Male Marijuana plants do in fact grow THC. The Male flowers contain THC, but a much smaller amount than the Female flowers. Male plants also produce THC on their leaves, but again, it is a much lower content than from Female leaves.


Male plants are rarely harvested as the flowers have a low THC content. Female plants can have as much as 20% THC content on the flowers, while Male may only grow as much as 3% THC content on the flowers.

even if it is/was a male hermie you should still kill it, all it will do is seed up your female and maybe yeild a few smally super seedy *buds*.

Yeah, I plucked it up. Hate to see it go after all that time and effort.

males grow something like a bud but it will never have a seed, those little things that look like testicles, or seeds i guess u might have mistaken them for are actually the part of the plant that holds the pollen, if flowered around one of your female plants, your female will be bred and the females buds will be full of seeds, if u think about it how many species in the animal kingdome have a male that produces seed, males produce sperm or pollen that mixes with the females egg to create offspring, not trying to say ur dumb for posting this but if you have no fucking clue what you are talking about why do you get on here and try to be cool, i hate people that think they have to throw their two cents in when they know that they have no fucking idea what they are talking about. so when someone who admits to not knowing anything they belive your dumb ass because u say it like you are sure it is a fact, sounds like everytime u hit your ditch weed you just cough corn, cause all lthats comin out your mouth is shit turds dude

thc is in the trichomes not the pistils
