Male,female question

I know how to identify a male and female,question is, can a plant be identified before 12/12 lighting schedule. Any earlier signs to look for? Or time wise,3-4 weeks to look for. Thanks jjfw

males starts to flower regardless of light schedule. but all strains need different amount of time to reach sexual maturity + better growing conditions = faster sexing due to stable growth. after 6-8 weeks is where most strains show their sex sex.
