Male/Female? Cannot tell

Hey Everyone ,

Started growing about 7 weeks ago , about to flower soon ....However , I have notice that the plant has little pointy leaf/balls/flower or what have you , growing in the corner of each node.....

I have read that usually male plants have groups of little balls "a sac" , this does not...

can anyone tell me what they believe this could be? is it male? is it female?

As well I posted a picture of the entire plant , can anyone tell me how healthy it looks? it seems to be doing well but I know very little about the process , I learn day by day.

looks like pre-flowers to me, but I could be wrong

too soon to tell...will show around 1 week of flowering 12/12....no ball sacks yet dont know what this guy sees ^^^^

Thanks for the replies , I am just asking because it seems like they are pointy balls , one on each side of the branch .....and they are slowly getting more pointed .

could this be the pre-flower developing ? Or could it be that male plant sac's actually do point out this way ...

balls look just like you'd think. Dangly nut lookin things. Females show little hairs pointing up at the nodes

id have to say i see no strong indicators of sex yet. female preflowers dont always spit out pistils and form properly. just watch them and see what they do. if you see little clusters of 3 little balls start forming then its time to worry.(edit-the middle one will be kind of pointy.)

I have this on my Sativa dom blueberry. Have you put a magnifying glass to it? I did and saw a small hair extending from mine. Might be worth a check.
