Male contamination!!!!!!

just cut some males i identified but they had already opened up a few of their flowers. the plants were in veg. and are just showing preflowers. will the females be ok to flower without seeding if i take clones? jw if it matters that the pollen already opened. i dont think it does since they are not flowering and i will be taking clones of them

i have cut the male out and sprayed the females down real good with water.what do you guys think should i kill everything and start all over,or do i just keep them in veg for a couple more weeks then take clones and flower the moms.I know this is a rookie mistake but i bought fem seeds from a reputible company and was not really looking for males.but i do know it happened in less than 72 hours.anyone with any advice please help.

Did you have a fan blowing, if yes you might be in trouble.

yes,i had a fan blowing.but the girls are still in veg.do you think if i wait a couple weeks to flower the pollen will be gone?or is it to late and the pollen has already been absorbed by my females and i should just clean up and start over

If your females are still not showing sex you should be ok, but if poss keep the fan off for a while and spray the place down with water, males must always be removed ASAP keep an eye on your plants and grow area day by day to prevent this, but you are still in early days and might be ok, but not 100%, its still worth going with what you have rather than start again, keep a better eye on them i-e look them over all the time. best of luck to you.
