A once great dude here once asked "Is wind natural to plants" before answering it and silencing the trolls by replying "Does a plant in stagnant air drop dead then...?"flour and pollen are way different. its too light to just fall down. it will get on everything inside AND outside the tent. hermies are a lil different, pollen from them is not "as bad" on flying around but true males , you can blow on and watch it fly up. Also when a female is pllonated then it starts to focus on seeds instead of buds. How is your tent not "windy" ? are they just sitting in stale air ? If you WANT males then its a whole other ballgame.....
im gonna have to make a thread just for us king. i dont mind debates but i dont like words being put into my mouth. what shall we name it ? "Soil vs King advanced questions answered"
My tent is not windy at plant level and as best i can measure falls between the 0.3 to 0.5m/s range of speed that commercial and scientific institutions reference for optimal growth.
A 600w hps dosent raise air temps by much so extraction is not needed at levels that create wind of perceptable or pollen take off levels.
