Making wine to produce CO2.

If you make wine in the same area as your plants, and blow the air comming out of the wine onto the plants is that a okay way of making CO2 or will that kill your plants? The reason I ask is I had a few plants next to the wine I was making and they didn't seem to do so well. I also had a ant problem so that could have been the issues maybe I should have bought some more bug sprays.

I doubt it was related to the co2 from the wine making as it would be beneficial to the plants, not harmful. I have a few friends that brew beer and wine right in their grow area. The amount of co2 given off by a small brew is actually not enough to even measure a change in the rooms co2 levels. Must have been some other issue...

Its a bad idea I have made wine for a long time and you are going to draw gnats and other bugs you might not want in your grow.
