Making Weed Tea

so i was thinking about making some marijuana tea, but wanted to know if other people have done so.

Is it efficient compared to smoking?
does it taste nice?
does it WORK?:L

obviously this isnt a new idea :P, I was reluctant to try it though because i know t.h.c. vapurises at around 180degC, but would it absorb into the water at 100?

Thc will not be extracted from the water or into it.... But extracting from milk works... make tea bags with your herb and brew at a low temp. there are recipe's on the net....

I've been researching this...so far it seems like the best way is to make canna-milk or cream and then add to the tea/coffee.
It can be made into a liquor also...vodka works nice...then put in tea/coffee.
I don't really drink anymore so the latter is out for me...still thinking about making some cream though...and then into ice cream:-P...Good luck

i was thinking that you could just pop some bud into boiling water, give it a stir or two and then strain out the weed.. :D
guess that wouldnt really work though then :(

think ill do a bit of research myself on the whole thc absorbtion aswell...

i once had a bunch of stems(about 2 big handfuls). so, me and my friend put them in 2 coffee filters and threw it in a coffee maker. so instead of the hot water goin thru coffee, it goes thru the stem. we let it run thru once, then stirred the stems, then turned it on a second time. after that, theres a nasty green liquid that will fuck u up. i took about 4 sips and felt it pretty good. it was real hot and tasted nasty so we didnt drink more, but it did get us real high

idk if this would work with nugs though. never tried. i would think it would work though

it would work better and tastier with nugs i suppose, but after overlooking the whole tea situation, ive decided that its a bit of a stress making tea that gets you high because youve got to get the thc to the milk, not the water.
i found a really quick recipe for nutella crackers though.
just slap some weed in between nutella'd crackers, wrap in foil and into the oven for 15 mins at 350*C
the foil is so that the vapur isnt escaping.

ive decided to just use my stalks and fan leaves for tea, just for the taste so i dont have to mess about cookin milk etc.

and god i didnt know americans ACTUALLY PUT BUTTER IN THEIR TEA!!!!!!??????

i made those nuttella crackers
i didnt leave them in long enough :( got impatient :D
at least they tasted good though :P
