I grow enough for my own personal use. About five years ago I started making my own seeds. Why? It not only saved money. it also guarantees good genetics for the next five years.
The issue I have had in doing this is getting what I order from seed banks. Order something and seeds will come but there is no telling what kind of plant will pop up. After about five years they stop germinating.
It takes about 4 months to make seeds. That is a lot of time to commit so the plant that grows needs to be the one ordered.
For a long time I have been wanting to grow White Widow. So far I gave not been able to get any thing close to white widow seeds. Does anyone know of a dealer who will actually fill an order with the exact seeds requested?. I have used some of the most well liked dealers mentioned on this forum but have never actually gotten white widow seeds. They need to be regular seeds because I need one or more males. Another think dealer do is send feminized no matter what.
On another note, most here would like to see marijuana legalized. If there were more people growing it already would be. As a celebration every 4/20, I get a canister of helium, fill a a bunch of balloons, attach a string, and tape one seed to the end of the string. There is no telling where these seed end up. The older you are the safer growing becomes. For folks over 60 who never let it leave the house, there is really no risk at all. To the younger set, a lot of this may be for fun and recreation. For the older crowd, cannabis oil is a tremendous supplement. It cures many diseases. It is great for insomnia. And, it is safe. Folks who grow are doing the world a service. It is said to impair your memory. In old age it does just the opposite.
