making neem oil for neem meal

This is my first post on the site, been reading through as much of the highly useful information on the organics thread that I can handle.

I know I've read it somewhere along my lurking, but cannot seem to remember how to/where I read how to produce a neem spray from the meal.

Is it as simple as aerating for a day then adding some yucca extract and then spraying it or does it need something else? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The meal is whats left after they press the oil out of it.... Its good to mix into soil or top dress.

But neem oil and yucca for an emulsifier works great in a foliar spray for me.

I dont know maybe somone here knows how to do it with neem meal

I tried making my own a few times on my outdoor garden last season by just bubbling around a quarter cup of both neem and karanja with a handful of castings/compost and then added some yucca extract right before I sprayed. It definitely helped with eliminating some of the damage being caused to the leaves on the vegetable garden, but was just looking for further info in case I missed something that would make it more beneficial for the pest deterrence.
