Making my own mix

Hello, haven’t posted in this part of the website before. I’m a beginner in organics. My plants are currently 12 days old from the time they poked out of the soil. Their roots are already filling my solo cup and I need to transplant. I have 2, 3 gallon pots to transplant into. I want to create my own mix and have the “ingredients”. I really just need some advice on the amounts of each “ingredient” to add. I figure 6 gallons is 24 quarts.

ingredients:
Fox farm ocean forest
Malibu compost
Earth worm castings
Dr earth all purpose 4-4-4 50% of recommended mix per gallon
Dr earth flower girl 3-9-4 50% of recommended mix per gallon
Perlite

If you guys could help me mix my soil and the amount in quarts needed of each ingredient to have a healthy grow all the way to harvest. Thanks in advance

Start with FFOF mixed with perlite, and a little EWC and compost. Then save the rest for top dressing later. FFOF has plenty of nutes for a bit.

You can also mix the EWC or compost with some dry amendments and let them get broken down before you top dress with it too, if you need it to work faster. I like both ways.

I'd also recommend getting some Neptune's Harvest Fish and Seaweed in case you need a quick boost.

Also... I only have 12 quarts of FFOF. Do you think 4 quarts of EWC and 4 quarts compost with 4 quarts perlite will work?

Ffof will run it for about 5 weeks by itself before some depletion... THEN you can add EITHER some dry fert or MORE FFOF on top to feed.

FFOF is a bit hot ( charged ) dumping all of that extra dry nutes on top of this soil will more than likely burn the shit out of your plants. Let ffof do the intial feed and get those plants accustomed to that medium before throwing kitchen sink.

Day 16 update. 3 days after transplant.

Today is day 27 from the seeds poking up, day 13 of veg.

Plant on the left is Gelato 41 and I topped all 8 of it’s tops and pulled the branches down to open her up.

The plant on the right is a bag seed and I topped all 4 of her tops and pulled the top 2 branches down some.

Let me know what you think!

Ps. The plant on the right has roots coming out the bottom of the pot already, the left does not

time to transplant them both to 5-7 Gal pots. That's at the least for ur gellato.

Well guess it’s time to purchase more soil, compost and ewc lol and some bigger pots. I have 15 gallon fabric pots I might just transplant them into. I’m hoping they’re both girls but if the gelato is at least a female I’ll be happy lol

They need some LST to compliment the topping you did. Nice job so far.
Also I have just tied down the 8 branches. The Side branching actually grew taller than the main tops did. In a week or 2 I’ll tie down the new tops to spread her open and then lay down a trellis. I want to top one more time for a total of 32 tops
