Making hash out of immature plants?

First off, I apologize if this is in the wrong section. I wasn't quite sure where to post it, so I assumed the newb section would be a good guess.

Due to some foreseen heat issues that were completely unavoidable (my grow-room budget ran out before I could get a cooltube/etc - I thought I could compensate with extra ventilation, but alas, not good enough.), I had to abort my grow a couple weeks early. As this was my first grow, I totally expected something catastrophic to happen, so I'm not too disappointed. However, in order to not have wasted months, I decided to try to salvage my girls by turning them into hash.

I blended up 3 full plants, stems and all, with a couple trays of ice. I strained the mush, reblended, and restrained. Each plant was topped once early on and then scrogged. The biggest bud had the diameter of a golf ball plus a cm or two. The smallest one had the diameter of a penny. All of the buds glittered like freakin' diamnods. They were fed the recommended doses of Moondust in a DWC hydroponic stealth box.

My question for you guys is this: will I get any hash at all from not-quite-mature plants?

Also, I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the direction of a cooltube/aircooled hood/etc, DIY or pre-made, doesn't matter which. Tube/hood needs to be able to contain a 400w HID but also needs to fit in a 8"x14" space. Doesn't need to reflect, just needs to keep the box cool. It can be larger than the dimensions above if I feel I can reasonably modify my box to fit it. Maybe just have the hood as a "lid" for the box? Lol

How far along were your plants when you chopped them? That will pretty much be the deciding factor.

Since they have noticeable trichomes, they of course will be good to make hash; the question is--how potent will it be? That depends on how "mature" the THC was when you chopped, among other things.

They were 60-70 day autoflowering on around day 45. As stated above, this was my first attempt at growing, so I'm sure their potency was lower than similar plants of the same age. Basically at this point, I'll be happy if I get a gram of usable hash, even if I have to smoke the whole gram for it to work.

Me and buddy had to pull some outdoor plants out weeks before harvest, buds still developing, had some trichomes but wasnt coated yet, still made some nice budder, made 3 batches of brownies, ate 1 and felt drunk/high for about 5 hrs each time i ate one so im sure ull get some decent hash outta those puppies, if u dont wanna make bubble u could always grab some butter and make budder or grab some 99% isopropyl alcohol and make some qwiso

ISO . budder , or BHO would be your best bet since they all extract oils that IMO water extraction wouldnt be able to get to

what ever trichs you had came out when you strained the mush im hoping you saved the water

Buy some bubble hash bags man every trichome is hash bubble hash is very very easy to make put ur bag in a bucket put ut plants in bag add ice blend a little let settle for 20 mins pull bags the 25 micro and 40 micro will yield u a few grams of the most potent hash u can make bubbble hash is upto 65 % pure thc

I made blender hash from a plant that hermied once. I never made it to flower and still got some hash. It worked but it was hella weak, better than a complete waste of time just chopping and tossing it though.
