How do you make this? Do you roll fresh material between your hands? Or did you do a dry sift and press/knead it?

I'm about to make my first temple ball any tips would greatly be appreciated. Also can I use parchment paper instead of cellophane

if you want the original way then yes, roll the plants through your hands and then use your fingers to start rolling a small lump, then use the lump and press it on to the rest of the stuff stuck to your hand then once you have got all of it, then roll it into a ball

Press a small amount of dry sieve between your thumb and palm and thumb and fingers and continue to work it until it softens and forms a mass. Add material and continue to press and work. When you reach the size you desire, roll between your two palms.
As you work it, it softens and becomes homogeneous.

None except maybe more skin cells. Normal hash just uses pressure to rupture the trichomes and congeal them together.

So the term “temple ball” is just round shaped hash? It looked different inside on the pics somebody posted, so I thought it might be an unknown smoke for me.

I use parchment paper and a bottle of hot water. Roll it out and fold it over, repeat as many times as you want.

I am a big fan of turkey bags or slow cooker bags (they're the same material).
It makes it easier to see what's going on while rolling with the hot water bottle.
After rolling both sides out, snap the two sides of the bag apart fold the hash back into a block and repeat the rolling two more times.
Then after the third press roll it into a ball, making sure to press out all of the air.
Then tightly wrap the temple ball in some of the turkey bag material.
Watch Frenchy Cannoli videos, over and over, until as you think about hash making, you are doing it with a heavy French accent!
