Make Plant Bush Out Without LST OR TOPPING HELP

Ok I normally Top my ladies at 4th node then LST the new branches but recently I have been looking at other grows and I'm seeing people ladies turn into BUSHES without LST, TOPPING, or fimming they just have CFLS real close. My question is if I have my 300w MH with a Aircool Hood closer to my ladies will they bush out without having to bend tops? Right Now light is about 18inches above ladies and some are at 2nd node while some others are at the 4th node. These ladies will be going outdoors on July 4th. Since they will only have about a month and a week to veg I don't want to top them. I would like them to go outdoors with more then One Main top. I can get the light about 10-8 inches from the top easy.

I think that's all strain depending if your not ganna do any training or topping.
just keep your light as close as possibal

When i first started I use to run one strain but I can't anymore cause one type of smoke gets boring for me in about a week and a half. I have to run at least 4 strains. Then I just smoke a diff strain every week. So by time the 1st strain come up again its like my first time smoking it cause it was 3 full weeks since i had it.
