I'm using my gram scale that I use for my master blend fert to measure the shock.
I'm doing .1g of shock for 12oz water. Based on my calculations is the same as 1g per gallon of water.
Then, 6ml of that solution per gallon of water. I run 3gal of water in my 5gal dwc bucket, so, 18ml of solution twice a week.
I started with the the pool shock advanced but ordered the regular pool shock that someone posted a link to on Amazon a few posts back. Not sure if it makes much of a difference, I know the hypochlorite percentage is a few points different.
The roots do not seem slimy and there is no odor so I guess I'll just let it ride. Thank you. Adding some pics
