I have a super simple indoor drip system that is supplying plants in 7 gal pots. Currently I am water twice a day for 4 min giving each plant about a liter a day. Plants are in Promix.
My question is, would it be better to maintain the pots at full saturation or should I keep them at moist which I would describe as not heavy when lifted but not ready for water either.
In the past, I would always flood and then let them dry out before watering again. Many of my buddies are using bluemat systems and those keep the meduim pretty saturated.
I am sure there have been 100’s of drip system threads but I was I able to find anything about this specific question.
