Forgot to mention. The wife keeps her chicks in the basement, well this morning one of the dogs knocked the heat lamp into the box. If it had happened during the night we would of lost the house, greenhouse and all the seedlings we just started.

You can see my hand print, from wiping out the fresh wood chips. It burned almost through the 3/4" boards to the floor.

Put the wire fencing on after this morning incident. I have to give it to her though she built it herself, with no tape measure using my chop saw and nail gun. Lmao

Started on the 19th left, center started on the 20th. Last 2 rows and smaller container started on 21st.

Yeah I didn't want to be rude and say nothing.. lol

I didn't level that slope out at all. I start off by placing a 64 ft string line down one side, then I drove 2 ft (+ or -) 2+4 spikes into the ground, 4 ft on center, plum and flush to the string. (All pressure treated) Then I attach a 2+4 bottom plate on top of the stakes. Measured over 24 ft, squared it up and did the same. Then run a string line from one plate to the other use a level and find out how much higher one side is. Then built my walls accordingly.

So far I haven't mentioned what we use for soil. We use Surf and Turf compost. It's made with seaweed, cow poo, lobster and seafood shells. We normally get a print out of nutrient levels from the guy we get it from. Last year we got 25yrds. I still have some left for the seedlings to go into 3 gal bags. But we'll be getting another 25yrds atleast this year. We get it delivered for just under $50 a yard.
