My little lady is very very close to being done. It seems the trich's on the bottom 2/3 of the baby are getting really cloudy (no amber yet  ) but the main COLA is somewhat white but about 1/2 as cloudy as bottom 2/3's.

Is this normal and should I wait until the whole plany is ready or branch by branch? I am waiting until I see 50% amber & 50% cloudy. From what I hear that's the best.

What do you think is the best buzz going all cloudy, all amber or 50/50? Since most of my grow was done reading on here and using suggestions, you all might as well help me with the end!

The top cola will take longer to ripen becouse its closer to the light than them bottem buds.. yes ths is normal... 50/50 is what i look for most people say its best ....if you think that u need to harvest your lower buds do it and leave the main cola untill its ready

So I could harvest the bottom and then leave the tops stem complete to finish, NICE! It will be very soon for the bottom 1/2 then maybe a week!

Yip U Should Be Good To Take Of Some Lower Buds Off If U Think They Are Ready And Leave The Rest Untill Its Ready For Harvest

Take the whole branch off if you like the way the trichs look on it, it won't cause any harm considering the rest of the plant should be done in a few days anyhow.

I personally wait until most trichs are cloudy with only a few amber ones, I prefer that high for sure. It's a more "up" high than waiting for the trichs to turn amber which generally produces the narcotic "I feel stupid" type of high.

Why not harvest some at amber and some at mostly just cloudy? A nice mix is always good.

It is natural for the lower buds to ripen quicker, so no worries you are doing a good job. I would definitely not wait until all the trichs are amber. I think most people go with 25-40% but like I said I will chop em down before that because I enjoy the high better and I'm always looking foward to starting the new cycle. Best of luck

I just noticed some amber ones starting to form on the bottom. I would recommend using the mollases treatment for anyone growing. It's definately fluffed up my buds at least 20%. I am going to harvest the bottom half later this week and the rest next week.

Last night we tested some and it's knock out down on the floor stoned buzz! I can't imagine what this baby is going to be like after it's completely done and dried correctly!!!

It's about 8 or 9 weeks into flowering and I am not sure of the strain except that it's KILLER KILLER!!! I'll post some pictures later this week when the camera get's back here.

Generally how much time does it take a plant to go from mostly cloudy to mostly amber? I'm just wondering what the window of time is, a few days, couple weeks?

Sometimes I wonder if there's that much difference between a sativa and indica high or if I could just grow a sativa and harvest part of it cloudy and the rest at just beyond mostly amber and produce both a sativa harvest and a real indica-like harvest too? The only difference most people report is one is "up" high and in the head and the other is a couch lock. But regardless of strain, people also talk about getting both effects from a plant just by harvesting at different stages.

I really couldn't say how long it takes. I know once all of em are cloudy they turn to amber within 4-5 days but each strain is different.

Your idea with growing a sativa and taking half down as it's cloudy, and half down when it turns to amber is a sound idea, you would def. get a different type of high from the two without question.

That said, I just took down some Diesel early and still yielded somewhat of a stony high compared to the up high so it's tough to say.

Maybe do one Indica One Sativa?
