Well that's the thing, in my mind you shouldn't mix them each strain has different effects.
Might be a bit much all at once.

But chatting to those hard trippas they all tune its fine and one should do it. But I haven't found one that has done it. So I don't know.

I've got the 15 grams lying there in my drawer. Burning in my mind...

What kind of mushrooms are they?

Different strains of mushrooms are pretty much the same stuff that only grows a bit differently and has different potency, size etc. Their effects dont differ even as much as different strains of cannabis, if at all.. So mix them all you want, as long as you are talking about mixing different psilocybin mushrooms and not for example liberty caps with amanita. but even that should not be any more dangerous than amanitas alone..

Thanks, I was wondering. I was given some 'golden teachers' recently, haven't taken them yet. Was wondering what the difference would be from the first time I took shrooms, because those where called 'bluefoots'. These have the same dark blue in the stem.

The dark blue comes from psilocybin when the tissue gets bruised or dries. Never heard or the bluefoot strain before, but if it has a blue stem, its most likely psilocybin and psilocybin is psilocybin no matter what the strain it.

But then you got different shrooms like amanita which some label as magic mushrooms, but they dont have psilocybin at all, but other stuff that have different effects(closer to delirium, aka alcohol psychosis than normal psychedelic effect).

Not sure if they bullshit names or not. I get them from a guy I used to move my bud to.

Never been disappointed with his stuff though.

Okay, I though so yes.
Psilocybin is psilocybin.

Just like thc is thc. Just differs in strength same I'm flowers.

Thank you for clarify it for me.

I've taken 2 types when I was in Holland liberty caps and a South American type, if I could turn back the clock I'd just buy 2x the amount of magic mushrooms there the best imo, the mixture or the South American gave me sore groins for some reason, not painful more uncomfortable?

i have mixed magic tryffles with magic mushroom of different variety, makes no difference.

the thing is that cannabis has terpenes and god knows how many different cannabinoids that effect the high. Shrooms are more the same

While we agree in principle, we really don't have enough information about the constituents of mushrooms.

Yes, we know there is psilicin and psilocybin in them but we really don't know what modifying chemicals may be in the fruit. We see a third element, that seems to introduce a frantic, speedy effect, baeocystine. Others are or may be
norpsilocin, norbaeocystin, and aeruginascin.

Now I have tried some 5 or 6 varieties but could never tell you the difference. I, as you, believed that a cube is a cube is a cube.

Others swear their are such differences.

The variable nature of the experience makes it difficult to really tell if the mushroom is different or if it is just a different head.

I know of an odd sort of strain where I heard at least four separate people, people who did not know each other describe their experiences as being predominated by "pink". They felt pink or they saw pink tinges or they were somehow so influenced by the concept of pink that they brought that specific color up to me.

Now I had to try this and I did notice pink in the experience but who is to say I was not influenced.

My point is, marijuana has a half dozen affective compounds in it that make one plant different than another, peyote has a dozen. The coca plant has more than a dozen. The opium poppy has more than a dozen. We cannot yet say what a fungal chemical factory that has a penchant for producing serotonin like analogs might be creating and what various combinations of those substances might be doing to our consciousness.

Yea maybe i oversimplified a bit too much.

My point was just that there is not as big difference, even if there is some difference, its so small that it gets lost to the rather unique experience of eating shrooms anyways. While for cannabis, especially if you dont smoke 24/7, but still decent smoker so you know your weed well etc. you can feel a very big difference between some heavy indica and head high sativa or some hybrid that sorta does both and just fucks you up properly, or if you add CBD to the strain, then its quite different again. Also when you harvest effects how it works. Then terpenes make some difference also it seems.

If we would assign a random value to cannabis high variation based on strains and we would say that cannabis has 100%(we use it as a "full" reference) variation between strains. Shrooms maybe, if they have any variance, i bet its like 5% max or so when cannabis is 100%. Set and setting makes way more difference than that 5%, so its nothing in reality if it even exists at all.

I think its interesting what you said about this pink thing. I dont know if its true or how it happened, but could it be that there is something "coded" in the shrooms also besides psilocybin? For example some neurotransmitter that excites only some very specific neurons, for example in this case something that trigger the pink color.

And you know whats funny about pink? It does not really exist! Pink is something that humans have evolved to see from combination of colors of red and mostly yellow and also other colors. There is no pink in the color spectrum. We most likely evolved to see it so that we can easily see if meat has gone bad and also likely to easily see if someone blushes, which can indicate arousal or general interest, which could lead to mating and their children also carrying this trait.

I watched Dr Max Mosley taking mushrooms while wired up to a brain scanner, this com as a surprise to me but parts of your brain stop transiting neuro signals giving you the euphoric high, i believe its on YouTube if you're interested.

We agree. Set, setting, what ever else may make it impossible to tell one "strain" from another. And then there is the importance of drug lore. We almost HAVE to have different strains just so we can attribute the experience to variety. It has to be external.

Pink? Hell, I don't know, maybe there is something to it. I just chalked it up to synchronicity or seriality (can't remember the difference).

Again, I would like to believe it. I suppose we could try each chemical all by itself and I have tried a high baeocystine variety but still.

It took me decades to descrern the effects of cocamine in your standard "high grade" jungle cocaine. It might take even more time to work those mushroom things out.

And some are just moderating affects.

It is interesting to talk to someone who isn't stuck in mythos though. Thanks.

Synchronicity is the word yes.

Funny story. I was bussy learning this word and the usage of it.
