I found this thing from years and years ago, thinking I may give it to my gramps to try medicating but it's also a little bit involved. Much easier to teach him to use a pipe and lighter, I think. He couldn't figure out the Volcano well enough to work it when I wasn't there.

Any thoughts on these? I remember not hating it years ago, but the Volcano is way nicer for my purposes when it comes to vaping and mostly I'm doing bongloads or dabs.

I have one, but it doesn't work very good. I thought it was a waste of $100 or whatever I paid. I was really disappointed, but maybe I just got a bad one.

That's a bummer, I remember this thing working fine for what it is. I'm charging some batteries now, so I'll be able to give it a shot soon.

If you've still got it, they supposedly have a very good warranty service and will just replace your unit if it's bad. I've never had to make use of it, though.

Ya, I still have it. It's like new still. I didn't get good hits off, so I stopped using it. I have a desktop vape now. That does the trick.

Mind if I ask what kind? My buddy is gonna take the Volcano back home with her when she leaves town, and I'm gonna be left with combustion. Not that I dislike it, but I don't mind having the option to vape as well.

Just tried to get a hit with a partially charged battery and it was just not working at all. I remember getting something off of it, though being non-plussed as compared to the rabid online fanbase. Maybe it'll work after the batteries fully charge, or perhaps these batteries are bad?

Or maybe the thing just sucks and I'm wasting my time, lol.

I have the Silver Surfer vape. I don't use the hose though. I just hold the wand to it and hold the vape like a lighter. It's called direct draw. I actually have 2 of them, but I broke the heater cover on one when I was changing the glass to a different color, but I haven't ordered a new one yet. I have the old standard heater covers on mine.

Nice, thanks man. Looks like pretty good stuff. I want a volcano but it's hard to justify the cost.

I have an arizer extreme Q for home use (lady likes it as it's easier for her to toke) and a magic flight launch box that I use for traveling. It takes a bit of technique and HOT batteries but I think the MFLB is a worthy vehicle for bud.

Not for Gramps.

I'll admit, I'm an old guy and until recently, haven't burned in many a year (think 1970's). When did smoking pot become so complicated? Light 'em up Bitches!

It's a way healthier way to consume cannabis. No carcinogens if you don't burn it. My lungs feel 10 times better, and I'm not coughing shit up all the time. It also tastes way better, and makes all weed smoother. I'm talking about a good convection vaporizer though, not a crap one that still combusts the weed.

Every time my doctors hear I'm a consumer they ask "Do you vape it?". So it's even doctor recommended, lol.
