The title says it all, Magic Bud by Paradise Seeds is a genetic Hermi. Shame on you, Paradise.

The Sensi Star looks good, just pissed about MB growing hairy ballz..

10, full and unopened pack from Gypsy about a year ago. 8 grew from coco pH @ 6.6, Got 2 Hermis. I planted about 60 seeds of different strains, 90%-100% germination was average, Magic Bud was the only one to Hermi. The males all had hairs.. I hope the females don't grow ballz. I thought I was getting 8/8 Females and like, wtf... It turns out that it was 6 of 8 were females and the other two were hermis, mostly male.

This was NOT from a FEM pack, these are from regular seeds.

Just so I understand, out of eight magic bud seeds, 2 we're hermaphrodites? If that's the case then I don't think that's bad at all. Correct me if Im wrong.

I planted about 60 seeds of a variety of strains/hybrids, only 2 became hermis in early stages of flowering - Both were Magic Bud. It might tell me something different than it tells you, it tells me to trash the shit. No respectable breeder should have genetic hermi pollen floating around. Since I breed for personal usage, I am tossing the MB. I have NO ROOM for genetic hermis which give me seeded females, if I grow a female, I want it to be FEMALE.

Seriously, many seed breeders are trying to downplay the genetic hermi-thing. I will never down play it, I hate them. The last thing I need is a crop ruined by shitty seeds.

Is there a breeder out there that can absolutely gareuntee that none of their regular seeds will come up hermaphrodite?

Hermis = seedy flowers, shit seeds, shit flowers. My seeds do not produce Hermis, if they do, I trash them all. ;) Cheer up, the Sensi Star looks great! I would not worry about it too much, there are a few females of the Magic Bud which are not showing Herm. Actually, the more I think about it, the more it upsets me enough to make a worse review.

You just contradicted yourself by saying your seeds don't produce hermies but if they do you trash them. You also didn't answer the question regarding if any breeder can guarantee that none of their seeds will go hermies. As far as I know, no breeder can make that claim. Again, if only 2 out of eight regular seeds went, to shit, those are decent results. I don't know how people can expect absolute perfection.

Best of luck either way.

I have produced hermis from 1 or 2 strains, I didn't keep them. I have standards. Some punk ass motherfuckers would just sell it to the public and make a bitch of themselves. If thats what they choose to do then be prepared to be called an asshole for selling Hermi shit to the public. NO, IT IS NOT OK. If you stood here and told me that you were going to trick me into growing hermi seeds, I would tell you to turn around and shove them where the sun don't shine. Any respectable breeder would ALWAYS test their strains and INFORM the public of any possible hermis or other problems.

Cheers! and Have a nice day!
