i let the res runout of water. plants were about 1ft tall not sure how long they were w/o water but long enough to kill all my roots that were in the aero tubes they all look brown now. i quickly adapted the system to top drip to keep the medium wet. this somewhat helped the plants and it looks like some might pull through.

My question is should i pull the plants up and try getting off the brown roots or just run H2O2 or hygrozyme? I am not a fan of organics so wont be using any of the teas on the market right now. fyi some looked worse than others so i pulled two out and put them in dirt will see if this saves them or not. They looked terrible. hope i dont have to scrap the whole thing i grow in the winter so i dont have to run the A/C because my breaker cant handle the a/c and all the lights, this would put me into spring time and would likely need a/c then.

Appreciate any help

I would skip using hydrzyme or h202 and look into brewing tea! And i wouldnt remove roots they will come back!
Ive been right where you are when a pump failed and it took time but alot came back, also this shit is the main
Reason i stopped doing aero!

Ive killed everything many times in aero because of a hose coming off a pump or manifold, me bumping my recycle timer. Me turning my recycle timer to the off position so i could work and units and forgetting to turn it back on.

well i did hyrgrozyme one day and then did H2O2 yesterday and today. Almost everytop that was looking droopy is upright again. looks like all the ones i left in the aero and started top feeding are going to make it. I did something weird while all this was going on. I put my clones i had put in dirt in red solo cups in the aero holes i took the other plants out of. my solo cups only have small slits in the bottom to allow water out. When i pulled them up today they had roots about an inch long creeping out the little slits. I am now considering leaving them half dirt half aero and see how they do. I always read about peoples diff ways to combine hydro and dirt and i stumbled upon my own. It would seem that this could keep me from having the death issues if the water was to "dry up" again
