Machine Rolled Or By Hand?

Just curious. I learned to roll when I was younger, but with tobacco. I do OK, but the consistency of good bud makes it harder for me. I finally decided that I would get a roller and have never been sorry. My J's are smokable, but the roller makes them fatter, more consistent burning(no runs), and they look nice and round like a cig. Takes a LITTLE longer, but with the amount I can fit in I can get high 2-3 times off 1 J.

I know, I know. Learn to roll better. And I plan on it. Going to buy a case of Zigs and use about 2 oz. of outdoor my buddy gave me for helping him trim. Lots of rolling. Wanna be able to for those times when you just need to, but I still prefer my roller.

And you?

I used to work with a guy who could hand-roll with one hand. Fun to watch! I asked how he learned and he said you learn to keep yourself occupied when you're doin' time.

nothing like a fine hand rolled joint

you have to just keep rolling, and learning, and figuring out little tricks to make it tighter/smoother/rounder/ the perfect consistency :)

Much like playing guitar, it's awkward at first but once you start to figure it you the magic happens :)

So i say hand rolled, if your good at it

I almost always hand rolled mine until my arthritis got too bad in my hands and then I had to go with a rolling machine. Some of them are junk and when you find a good model they are golden. A good machine rolled J can make everything better. I miss hand rolling them.

Yeah, you have to be careful or it's like trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose!
AH HA thats where the wire comes in, ive got a 6 inch thin wire that i run through the middle of the joint, smooth hits all the way down!

Ahaa! What metal is it made of? So you run it through the middle after you're done rolling?
ive
had the same wire for 20 years,it about the size of a trash twist tie,in highschool i sold joints with a bare twist tie in the joint,it doubles as a roach clip! oh yea just run it through the joint.

I've started using a large paperclip that took forever to get nice and straight, but it's been working well! They almost hit too loose. I'm going to have to try a smaller diameter. Awesome tip though pilgram. Thanks again!
