well, i destroyed all the clones with the mites.... did a few dustings of DE (diatomeoucious earth), then a couple days later dowsed with einstein oil (neem oil + lots of other good bug killing things)) a couple of times... and am waiting on some Floramite to truly set the odds in my favor...

I know.. the mites are the Satan of the growing religion. LOL.. feared legends of unstoppable bud killing machines. LOL.. sorry.. its just funny to me.. right now anyways. And I'll laugh when I meet my day of fate with the mites.. LOL..

do you think any of your mite killing remedies got into the perlite/medium and killed them that way? or just from too much stress?

haha... moms? i only have one real mom... though i have a heri thats gonna need its first trimming... and a sputnik 2.0 thats being bent into shape...
but its no thang... i still have a couple dozen plants still in there... it was just one set of clones that had to go...
no the biggest set back... but if you think about it... those 30 plants could have been a couple of pounds... a few thousand dollars... that i had to ditch
ehhh... such is the weed growing life i guess...
and the mites seemed to have just been contained to the tray of clones in rockwool... i couldn't find any on any of my plants in perlite, or the ones in my bubble cloner.... just using the sprays and DE as preventative measures, cuz i don't wanna lose any more to some fucking mites

It's the nature of what we do, shyt can happen. Thankfully I was too high to start the others and they will resurrect my grow with new enthusiasm when things are safe again.. bah, give it a month n a half or so.

mites look like little tiny black dots that hang out on the underside of your leaves.... you'll starts seeing white spots on the top of the leaves then necrosis of those leave... look underneath and you'll find these dots moving slowly and maybe even some web of theres

i dunno what the orange bug that you saw was....
keep some neem oil around for the occassional maintenance spray, IMO... i'd rather not see any kinda critters in there...

but as it is... i only have i think 10 seeds (maybe only 5!
) left and i'm gonna need them to 1)see how the f3 generation girls turn out and 2)to find a male to back cross with an f2 mom to make more seeds....that won't be for months though, at least...

the white shit on them is just residual DE... cheap silica foliar feed... it just looks kinda ugly when excess dries on the leaves... haha nothing harmful though
